The stems are available through the link below from today, deadline for entries is Sunday May 2nd 2010.


The winning remix will receive £1000 of Addict clothing and a SoundCloud Pro Plus and three runners up will get SoundCloud Lite accounts.


Sabre gives us the brief on what he's looking for in the winning entry and how he approaches remixes...

i was actually considering this one...  fucking LOVING sabre's output, really great take on drum and bass in my opinion.  samples are brilliant also, really great sounds/textures in there, a lot could be done with this bit- original is sick too though- just can't decide exactly where i'd like to go with it... of all things, my girlfriend had a really good idea on the remixing processes Shocked

I'm have'n the same problem. I thought maybe goin dance floor, but i bet that's what most peps will do.

We got a great response with the track itself downloaded 2869 times, some of the parts receiving over 1500 downloads and 197 producers submitting their remixes.

The amount of quality entries made it difficult to choose a winner but in the end the judges went with Dominic Ridgway's effort. Check it for yourself.....

this guy's take on the material was nice... however... i feel like soo much more couldve been done with those samples.  really expected the winner to blow me away, but this tune definitely didn't do that.  just my opinion of course. respect to the winner regardless-

really wish i would've had a capable machine a few months ago to work on something for this super quality production (not that anything i'd have done would've been much more than laughable im sure...)
